Basic Beanie! 3-6 Month Size
As promised... Though a little late, here is the second installment in the "Basic Beanie's Collection" lol. I actually have a set of these that I keep made up... Basically when I am writing a pattern in stead of constantly measuring (I do have a bit of OCD) I just check it with the basic beanie that is already made up! It has saved me a TON of time! They can be worked in rounds as well, however the thought of rounds tends to intimidate a beginner so this one is technically in rows.

Please remember that we are NOT TURNING at the end of each row, you will attach, chain 1 and keep going forward.
I have to tell you it is really exciting! Like waaaay more exciting than I thought it would be! I honestly NEVER imagined that I would be so tickled pink over seeing my creations, my work in use! It is kinda invigorating! I really wish that I had the talent that these amazing people have because honestly the garage would be transformed into a complete photography studio! ;) Oh yeah! But, alas, I do NOT have that talent! I can totally handle the kiddos like my girls who pose without any push... Sheesh if all kiddos were like that I could totally be an amazing point and shoot photographer! haha...

Anyhow I told you that I was going to share... I know its kinda creepy BUT I have totally started myself a little photo album of these shots! Not only are they amazing shots, BUT I am so proud that my little hobby, my baby, has even come this far! Its hard to explain, but I am pretty sure that I will also have this feeling when my first child graduates or something like that! lol

The pouch is my pattern and is available on the blog, the headband was from a pattern that I purchased (you can get one here) and am able to make for sale... ;) hint hint ;)

These shots are from a great photographer in North Carolina, if you are in that area I would DEFINITELY suggest you hit her up for some awesome shots of your little kiddos! Check out Ashley Paige Photography on Facebook!

Anyhow I am working on something that one the of the photographers mentioned to me and REALLY need to stop blah blah blahing about it and just DO it already! <3

I will definitely be posting some new pix and patterns soon! I have honestly just been going nuts with the crazy weather changes we have had in New England and I feel like my allergies are on a roller coaster! I think that if this winter is any indication then we are in for a H-O-T summer ahead!

Well I am off to be crafty! ;)

Until next time...

Happy Crafting!
We are focusing on different beanies that can be created using the simple beanie increase base... Basically you would start these hats out EXACTLY the same way as any other hat and then you wind up with a LOVELY textured side! The ones that we have done up so far today all start out with a half double crochet beanie base!

I got so excited that I lost my camera in my confusion of yarn! lol... I will DEFINITELY be posting some more pictures this evening! I am so in love with this idea! AND we are working on some different "flower" ideas, although some are more adornments than flowers!

What is on your plate this week? Do you have anything new on the horizon? Are you crafting your heart out to deal with life's stresses? (Oh wait that is me this week! ;)

Until later...

<3 Happy Crafting!
I made this to fit a Pandigital Nova (I got mine at Best Buy lol) however it can be altered to fit other common eReader brands, and new sizes will definitely be coming out soon!

I really enjoyed making this one and gave it to my friend who happens to have the exact same eReader as I do (she totally saw it and had it first!) and she absolutely LOVES it... Funny she helped me pick out what stitch pattern to use in creating this one... hmmmm... lol

Going to make another for mine soon, however it will not be in the basket weave, I have my eye on a completely different stitch for mine!

So let me know what you think... And what other eReaders or tablets you think I should do next!

Happy Crafting!
Apparently Saturday is the designated day for FREE CROCHET PATTERNS to hit the blog! ;)

I am working on putting the marvelous Basket Weave Hat Pattern into blogable format so that you guys get it tomorrow! <3

I have to say I really am enjoying making new patterns almost as much as I enjoy crocheting itself! I am working on crocheting a Basket Weave E-Reader Case for my Pandigital Nova, but I am also going to add for the Kindle Fire and IPad2! That should be ready to go NEXT WEEK!!

I hope you enjoy getting a free shot at our patterns BEFORE they hit the sales rack! Just remember that if you contact me I can always send you a full color print copy via snail mail for an additional $1.50! I am almost like Burger King... Giving it to you, your way... haha well ALMOST your way! lol

Anyhow I hope that you are all enjoying the weather where you are! This is what it looks like from my laptop camera looking out my front living room window!

SNOW SNOW SNOW... Oh yeah and my plants!

Snow, snow, snow... In every direction you look, every where you go! LOTS OF SNOW!! Oh and in the forecast: Three MORE minor snow storms this upcoming week - they start TOMORROW!!! You know three minor totally equals at least one and a half majors, right?!? Because I totally know that one!!

Anyhow... Until Tomorrow!

Happy Crafting!
